Before April, our team in Vietnam has daily call w/ the US team at 8:30am ICT (UTC+7), which is 5:30pm PST (UTC-8). After daylight saving time ended (on the first Sunday of April) we keep the time the same. So now the US team has the call at 6:30pm PST.
For our East Coast clients (UTC-4), the meeting time is reversed. Our daily call starts at 8am EST, which is 7pm ICT. In October (which is when daylight saving time starts) we still have the call at 8am EST, which is now 6pm ICT.
The point of the call is just a quick hands-off. Finished tasks are reviewed and new tasks are scheduled. Most of the time it ends in less than 1hr since we have now established a very well tested and async project management processes/tools.
